Hey Toronto – UH-OH! The Raptors have lost both games on their home floor, and the Wizards just went WWE. Bradley Beal and John Wall just hit them with a straight-up tag team.
Seriously those two dudes should have worn red spiked shoulder pads over their Wiz gamers. Bradley Beal started the match, hit the Raptors with a few body slams, and went aerial off the turnbuckle while Wall just stood in his corner and watched.
The Wiz could have gone for the pin right then. But it was time for the partner to tag in. That’s always a dangerous time if you’re a jobber. Because you’ve been getting badly worked over… And then the stir-crazy tag team partner jumps in and starts dragging you all over the ring.
John Wall came out for the second half like The Anvil getting tagged in by The Hitman. Get the hell out of the way before you get hurt.
Kyle Lowry is a great young player, but his matchup against Wall has gone terribly.
This series was supposed to be a duel between Eastern Conference point guards. It’s felt more like The Mega Powers vs. The Bushwhackers.
It’s not just Lowry either. Nobody on Toronto can do anything about Wall. Lou Williams won 6th Man of the Year before the game, J-Dub made him look like a 12th man during the game.
The Wizards are The Road Warriors, The Rockers with a little bit of Demolition. Wall and Beal look like they’re ready for a Royal Rumble with the Hawks and Cavs.
Watch the Great Wall on Jim Rome on Showtime tonight. Watch the Wiz in the next round.
Sorry Toronto- hit these dudes with a steel chair and it won’t’ even matter.
