After a few brilliant starts in place of Ian Kennedy, Odrisamer Despaigne was called on to start in Phoenix last night after Brandon Morrow went on the DL. Unfortunately for “OD”, it didn’t go nearly as well this time.

The Padres will have another shot against the Diamondbacks tonight, at 6:40pm PT. Make sure to tune in to 1090AM to catch the radio call of the game.

Yonder Alonso was in an incredible amount of pain last night after making a diving stop, and couldn’t even throw the ball to the pitch covering first base. We’ll wait to see if it’s serious, but it certainly didn’t look good.
