Corporal Jesus Reinaldo LeonLandaeta currently serves as a legal paralegal in the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Western Recruiting Region, San Diego, California.
Corporal LeonLandaeta was born on December 20th, 1990 in Caracas, Venezuela. Corporal LeonLandaeta lived in Florida most of his life and in 2010, he graduated from Eustis High School in Eustis, Florida.
After Graduating from high school he enlisted on November 29th, 2010 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. Private LeonLandaeta then proceeded to Marine Corps Combat Training for four weeks at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. From there he attended the Naval Justice School in Newport Rhode Island. While attending the Naval Justice School he was promoted to Private First Class. Private First Class LeonLandaeta was assigned to the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, Japan as a Defense/Legal Assistance clerk on August 2nd, 2011. He was then promoted to Lance Corporal on January 1st, 2012. LCpl LeonLandaeta received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as an end of tour award aboard MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.
After completing his assignment aboard MCAS Iwakuni Lance Corporal LeonLandaeta reported to the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Western Recruiting Region, San Diego, California where he was also promoted on the first of May, 2014, to his current rank of Corporal. Corporal LeonLandaeta is currently a Staff Judge Advocate paralegal as of October 18th, 2013.
Corporal LeonLandaeta’s decorations include: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
