The soccer portion of the San Diego market has been totally ignored and that is why this plan WILL NOT FLY.
Century Link Field in Seattle would never have been approved had it not been for the voters who approved the project ONLY because they knew a SOCCER team was going to share the facility.
The majority of the sports fans in San Diego like soccer more than they like football.
How is it then that the mayor and members of the city council will completely overlook their needs when designing a new stadium?
This plan is flawed from the start.
