VIDEO: Mayor’s Plan for Mission Valley Stadium

Earlier today, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer released a video, akin to the one released for the Carson stadium project, that shows why an NFL stadium in Mission Valley should be the clear choice for the league and the Chargers.

While they didn’t get a Hollywood actor, like Kiefer Sutherland, to do the voice-over work, they did get Padres TV play-by-play announcer Dick Enberg. Watch the video below and let us know what you think in the comments!

As someone who went to architectural school I respect the man hours it took to do this but design wise I’m not impressed. Lacks flare.

I wonder if frontman Fabiani thinks that what previous mayor’s did with giving the Chargers the ticket guarantee for all those millions was a “waste” of taxpayers monies?

This is a joke. Bad location (should be downtown), unrealistic funding plan (we will end up paying billions to support billionaire owners in a billionaire league), and the fact that the Spanos family has pretty much given the finger to this city make this completely pointless. How much of my tax dollars went into this stupid proposal anyways?

I like it a lot. I think Mission Valley is a great location due to the space it provides. It’s hard to tailgate in a parking garage downtown. Tailgating is a San Diego tradition to be kept. We need some SD pride and this is something I think one can be much more proud of than Qualcomm.

Watching this video, the proposed New San Diego Stadium is a stadium that should be built it is an amazing looking structure it should be the stadium the Chargers should palsy in not Carson.
