Organization: Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California
Ariana would be considered a petite Pyrenees at only 60-70-pounds. She’s a stunning pure white Great Pyrenees with crystal blue eyes. Having recently been relinquished by a family, by to no fault of her own, we know she’s wonderful with kids, dogs, and cats. Her only issue is that she’s super smart and can be an escape artist. She needs a yard with a secure fence, like a wooden fence or cinder-block, but not chain-link. She can climb right over chain-link. She really is a sweet dog and especially loves cuddling with men. Ariana is just one of 40 Great Pyrenees available for adoption from the Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California. They’re bringing a handful of their adoptable dogs to this Saturday’s SANTA PAWS Mega Holiday Adoption Event at the Grossmont Center Mall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will have 26 organizations bringing up to 300 animals for adoption, including dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, tortoises, puppies and kittens. We want them all to wake up on Christmas morning with a family of their own. No animal deserves to be left in a shelter this holiday. Visit SDShelters.org for more information on the event, or to fill out an application for a Great Pyrenees, go to GreatPyrRescue.org and get started on becoming a foster or adopter!
