San Diego Chargers make 8 roster moves

Due to an already strained relationship between Eric Weddle and the San Diego Chargers, we’ve likely seen the end of his days as a part of the team. The team also announced, later, that Weddle and the other players on IR would not be permitted to travel with the team to Denver when the team takes on the Broncos next Sunday.

Other players put on IR today include Darrell Stuckey, Ladarius Green, and Sean Lissemore. The team re-signed offensive linemen Craid Watts and Michael Huey to the practice squad after promoting Sean McGrath and Matt Daniels to fill the remaining roster holes.

After the announcement, Weddle’s agent went on a bit of a tirade against the team on his public twitter account. Here’s what he had to say:
