Jamal Crawford talks Kobe Bryant’s goodbye on The Jim Rome Show

Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford believes Hollywood couldn’t have even scripted a better ending to Kobe Bryant’s 20 year career, after the Los Angeles Lakers icon put on an epic 60 point showing against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at the Staples Center.

“It was like a movie, it really was,” Crawford said. “You could see his eyes, his movement, everything you could see how locked in he is it was like he just needed space at that point. He never cheated the game. I think that’s what’s great about him. He never cheated the game.

“Even if you wrote a story book ending, they were having a guy hitting a game winning shot but they wouldn’t necessarily have a guy getting 60 and making all the big plays down the stretch. It was unbelievable.”

While there was some push-back from some people about Bryant taking 50 shots his career finale, Crawford isn’t one of them. “That’s the last time we will ever see him in uniform. That’s what he’s known for. I would have been upset had he took 10 shots honestly,” Crawford said. “Like this is his last game, go out with the guns blazing, and obviously, that’s what he was going to do.”

The 36-year-old shooting guard said Bryant’s play has been the standard for a generation.

“I think, [for] any player younger than him, Kobe’s always been the bar. I heard stories at the All-Star game, even think about the best players in the world at All-Star, he’s still the star that is the star among stars. He’s still the guy everybody’s looking at like there’s Kobe over there,” Crawford said.

“He’s always been the backdrop. He’s always been the bar. He’s always been that one guy for guys younger than him that was kind of like the Michael Jordan of his generation.”

Bad Take, ODB

Odell Beckham Jr is a playmaker. But he’s convinced himself that he’s also a star maker. And he’s wrong. Speaking to GQ, it actually sounds like he’s taking credit for Josh Norman’s career, quote: “The reason he’s

This is as Jets as it gets. Less than a week from now, they’ll be on the practice field. And it looks like their alleged starting quarterback will be on the golf course. That’s where Ryan Fitzpatrick is
