Brandon Mebane is a ‘stump, fire hydrant’ on Chargers D-Line

The Chargers held their first padded practice of this year’s training camp on Monday and it was spirited, as expected. One player who’s making an obvious, immediate impact so far is nose tackle Brandon Mebane. D.J. Fluker, Corey Liuget, and Manti Te’o spoke after practice about Mebane’s presence, and why he’s going to make this year’s defense much more formidable.
