The Spanos family have been jerking us around for a number of years now. Good riddance please. SOCCER is the strong present and the PROMISING FUTURE of sports in San Diego. Build a stadium with TWO portable natural grass fields. One for San Diego State and one to be used by a MLS team AND a women’s professional soccer team. Annex the rest of the Mission Valley site to San Diego State like Senator Marty Block is advocating.

Mayor Faulkoner means well I guess. He sure lacks true vision however. SOCCER is the sport he should be focusing on. San Diego has the perfect climate for year-round FRIENDLY MATCHES as well as year-round soccer tournaments. Great revenue for the city.
